Learn moreNew construction inspections are performed during construction phases and at the completion of construction. Typically, inspections are performed in phases. The most common are the phase II inspection and the final. The phase II is performed prior to sheet rock installation. This allows for the inspection of electrical, plumbing, framing, insulation, duct work, and ventilation systems before these areas are obscured by wall, ceiling, and floor coverings. The final inspection is a throughout inspection of the entire structure and systems where installation performance and dwelling integrity are evaluated as a whole. Final inspections should be completed 7 to 10 days prior to your final walk-through with the builder. This allows time for all parties to remedy any issues or concerns that may be identified during the final inspection.
We will verbally explain our findings the day of the inspection and provide a detailed report, with pictures, to you.
